Ophthalmologic Examination

On March 17, 2015, our dogs have undergone ophthalmologic examination inherited eye diseases encountered in terriers.

Alta Carya FCI IGRASZKA - tested a first time
Alta Carya FCI ISKIERKA - tested a first time
Eastman Maxwell DRWATSON - tested a second time (study # 1 - 15.02.2014.)

Result of the testing is the same for all dogs - eyes healthy, no change, unaffected pathologically:

1. Persistent Pupillary Membrane(PPM) - no change - unaffected
2. Persistent Hyperpl. Tunica Vasculosa Lentis/ Primary Vitreous (PHTVL/PHPV) -  no change - unaffected
3. Cataract (congenital) - no change - unaffected
4. Retinal dysplasia (RD) - no change - unaffected
5. Hypoplastia-/Micropapilla - no change - unaffected
6. L.Pectinatum abn. (only after gonioscopy) - no change - unaffected
7. Entropion / Trichasis - no change - unaffected
8. Ectropion / Macroblepharon - no change - unaffected
9. Districhiasis - no change - unaffected
10. Ectopia cilia – no change - unaffected
11. Corneal dystrophy - no change - unaffected
12. Cataract (non-congenital) - no change - unaffected
13. Lens luxation (primary) - no change - unaffected
14. Retinal degeneration PRA - no change - unaffected

It's a great result, giving promise that the next generation of our Norwich Terrier will also healthy.
