In 1999 Kornelia and our first cairn terrier GAFA started their carrier in junior handler competitions. During those competition judges give their opinion about the handlers' skills and knowledge, relations with a dog. In 2000 at European Dog Show in Poznan Kornelia and Gafa were in final three junior handlers from younger group (kids 9-12 years old). Kornelia also competed in junior handling in Sweden, where she showed cairns from Hjohoo's kennel. Participating in junior handling competitions is a good lesson of life - a kid learns wining and loosing. It requires discipline and much work. Gafa was the only cairn terrier in that time
in JH competitions and was well known by the public. Both, Kornelia and Gafa had satisfaction because of this fact.
Gafa was a superstar :)
